If you like taking pictures spontaneously like me, then you need to always have your camera at hand.
Sure, you can carry your Mark 4 or 5, or Nikon D810 around all the time, as I would want to as well… But it’s simply impossible to run your regular errands, like getting groceries and picking up kids from school, and then take out your big and heavy camera for a couple of shots. There aren’t enough free hands for that, and your back hurts terribly. It also brings additional attention to the photographer, which isn’t always what you want, for example, if you want to take pictures of a beautiful vegetable or fruit showcase at Pablix or WholeFoods.

You might say that no one needs such pictures,
but I’d say that is not true. This is a perfect opportunity to create editorial
pictures, which are needed by virtually everyone and are in high demand!

So, I finally bought a great compact camera – Canon M50 with 15-45 lens kit with 15-45 lens kit, RAW format support, possibility of using external flash and interchangeable lens and lots of other useful things. Yes, it’s mirrorless, but we all know that
mirrorless cameras are the future.
Now I need to buy a compact, handy lens and an adapter for it.
At this point I’ve chosen these: Canon EF 50mmf/1.8 STM  Lens and Commlite Mount Adapter Canon EF/EF-S to EF-M
or  Viltrox EF-EOS M Lens Mount Auto Adapter.
And probably I need this one Baosity Manual Focus Camera Adapter Ring.

Very on budget.
It took me a long time to decide which camera to buy for traveling, which brand: Sony, maybe Fuji, Nikon or Canon.
I’ve chosen the latter, as it has the most intuitive settings for me, it’s easy to use the lenses I already have and the design is pretty.

Well, I can’t wait to share pictures from this camera, but I also want to buy a better lens and adapter first. As soon as I get them, I will make sure to share the results of my first shoots.

In the meantime, you can book a photo shoot by simply sending me an e-mail olga@sflphoto.com.
